Turn your world upside down in this powerful inversions workshop!
Inversions calm the brain, boost metabolism, and relieve mild depression– helping us survive (and thrive) in the dark winter season. They also shift perspective and release stuck energy, freeing our natural creativity.
Learn headstand, handstand, forearm stand and more in a safe, compassionate environment.
Saturday, Dec 5, 9-12 noon.
Whether you’re an inverting novice or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll benefit from this inspiring workshop. With consistent practice and mindfulness, you can overcome your fears and release any negative beliefs. Many people think that challenging but rewarding poses like handstand aren’t available to them, but they’re wrong!
We’ll warm up with a dynamic vinyasa flow, moving through core strength variations and shoulder openers. After balancing upside down (with the help of the wall, the teacher, or a partner), we’ll break for tea and a light snack. Then we’ll return to the studio for a deeply restorative closing sequence.
