This miraculous early spring continues with a hot, steamy weekend.  I get the fan down from the attic and put away my wool sweaters.  We fill the kiddie pool, then find our stash of bathing suits– hand-me-down striped bikinis (blue and white with red ladybugs), pink flowery ruffled tanksuits, cherry suits, and a sunset halter tankini.

A and C are suddenly more into bathing suits than nakedness, which is something of a relief when it comes to playdates and neighbors.  How could I forget how much I love Warm Weather?  How do we ever survive all winter?

We all have Spring Fever.  The tender pea shoots are coming up, apple blossoms are falling, and the Apricot Beauty tulips are finally blooming, blushing peachy pink like lipsticked ladies.

On Saturday we hit the Farmers’ Market for opening day, danced the maypole, and ate chicken-sticks and brought home two bags of fresh spicy arugula.  Then on Sunday I took off for a fantastic Ashtanga Yoga Second Series workshop at Florence Yoga and Tim had a BEACH PARTY here with the girls.

Water slide, drumming, guitar, frisbee, plastic farm animals, lemonade, popsicles, and more.  Bring on summer!
